Description
If selected for this role, you will manage and execute sales oriented programs with top customers and geographies in one of our business units. To succeed in this role, you must interact closely with customer teams, geographies, and the internal sales planning team to secure customer team collaborative planning and net sales targets agreements. Masterfoods USA is a highly collaborative environment, so you must also work effectively with a number of related functions including Co-Marketing, Category Leadership, Field Operations and Sales Technology.

Specifically, you will: develop net sales contracts and then track and monitor progress against sales targets; prepare sales input for a number of internal reports for the business unit initiatives and sales activity sets; plan and conduct customer collaboration meetings; collaborate with customer teams to develop customer satisfaction targets; conduct market visits to stay abreast of trends; and review the activity calendar to ensure that field sales can provide effective execution; work with Customer teams to continually improve the ROI on trade spend and ensure alignment of activities with the segment strategy, and identify customer opportunities and develop business case recommendations in support of the development and execution of the opportunities. This position requires a unique blend of talents- consummate sales skills, excellent data analysis skills, and polished communication and consultative skills. Our Winning Candidate will Possess:
* Four year college degree.
* 5 to 8 years in sales, preferably CPG or food, which demonstrated strong customer focus, understanding of category leadership, and knowledge of branding, communication and promotional techniques.
* Strong project management skills coupled with general business acumen and consultative abilities.
*Strong oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to influence, motivate and lead others; proven networking skills in order to leverage cross functional resources.
* Strong technical skills: MS Office products and syndicated data including IRI, ACNeilsen.
* Willingess to travel up to 60 percent, including occasional weekends at trade exhibits or sales meetings.df-tc
