Description
This position is primarily responsible for working within the security architecture team to manage the operational security activities associated with ArcSight (Centralized Logging of security events), communicating vulnerability and remediation work to the service delivery teams. Additionally, this staff member will manage incoming data collection requests (such as archived email, hard drive searches) and ensuring that the requests are adequately documented, tracked, and responded to in an efficient an accurate manner. This position will collaborate with the data privacy, strategy, and operations organizations to ensure that solutions integrate with existing or future security and privacy technologies.

Job Responsibilities

Technical Skills (60% of time)
  • Develop and support, under the guidance of DWS IT Security management, ArcSight logging and alerting tool. Responsible to support ArchSight dashboard, connectors and manage storage capacity.
  • Tracking incoming requests for IT data that relate to routine HR, litigation, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Ensuring that the requests follow appropriate process and workflow regarding ownership and responsibility.
  • Working with Investigations and IT teams to help facilitate the gathering of data and insuring the accuracy of data is confirmed.
  • Providing management reporting.
  • Participating in strategic initiatives designed to streamline and improve the request for data workflow process

    Interface Skills (25% of time)
  • Interfaces with technology and process groups, including Security Architecture, security personnel in the Service Delivery organization, Business unit IT teams, and potentially 3rd party vendor/supplier organizations

    Project Management Skills (15% of time)
  • Identifies and leverage resources from across the company and the supplier(s), working within their time commitments and availability to successfully drive projects and forensic requests to support the above responsibilities. Ability to manage conflicting priorities.

    Knowledge/Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge / experience in Information Systems, with experience in Information Security
  • Successful management of small to medium IT security tasks that demonstrate the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of business and technology professionals and interact with senior management.
  • Knowledge of the principal IT security technology used by Disney, including CheckPoint Firewalls, Cisco routers, switches and load balancers, TCP/IP networking, IP routing, basic IP services (e.g. DNS, SMTP, SNMP), VPN technologies, encryption technologies (e.g. PGP, PKI), digital certificates, e-mail and IM technologies, Unix platforms (including Linux, Solaris or HP), Windows platforms (including Win2K or WinXP).
  • Demonstrated understanding of computer forensics and related disciplines. Candidate must have experience in conducting forensics investigations. This includes, but is not limited to; handling initial investigation, securing acquisition of digital evidence, proper chain of custody and logging of case events, creating reports to present to both technical and non technical audiences. Strong working knowledge of commercial forensics tools, and performing intrusion analysis with EnCase Enterprise
  • Desktop/Client services background/knowledge a plus

    Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Business related field
  • CISSP and/or SANS GCIH or equivalent certification preferred
  • 3+ years experience information security
