Job Responsibilities:

This Senior Security Specialist is responsible for working with the security strategy team to develop TWDC strategies and direction for data asset protection and security, defining both technologies and processes as tools to create a framework from which the security architecture and operations groups can build infrastructure and detailed operations documentation. This position interface with various Enterprise and Segment IT organizations to determine broad requirements for security technologies and processes, and develop comprehensive strategies to meet those requirements by leveraging existing and new tools and processes. The primary focus of this position is to ensure that TWDC properly leverages available solutions to ensure maximum value to the entire organization and minimizes short-term and narrowly focused implementations.

Required qualifications:

5+ years experience with strategic security technologies
3+ years experience in developing security strategic plans and integrating security technologies into corporate frameworks.

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge/experience in Information Systems, with experience in implementing security technologies and/or processes
  • Expert knowledge/experience with strategic security technologies, including:
    o Symmetric and asymmetric encryption
    o Digital certificates
    o Biometrics
    o Network intrusion detection/network intrusion prevention
    o Use of firewalls and access control lists
    o Network scanning tools for asset identification and vulnerability assessment
    o Remote access technologies, including VPN, dial-in and GUI-based interfaces
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Business related field
  • CISSP or other security certification a plus
  • Experience with PKI strategic implementations, including integration of X.509 certificates into authentication and encryption mechanisms
  • Experience with implementation of correlation engine technology, including integration with nIDS, hIDS, FW logs, etc.
  • Experience with network infrastructure and perimeter development, including design and architecture of DMZs, access control, and multiple ISP connectionsdf-tc
