ACS Education Solutions, has an opening for a Senior Software Engineer in its Germantown office.

This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in design, development, and maintenance of complex and very large CRM software applications. The environment is fast paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5-7 years of progressively responsible related technical experience, including 4+ years of Siebel implementation experience along with an excellent understanding of Siebel application architecture, Siebel data model, configuration tools, and Siebel server side processes. A comprehensive understanding of the major Siebel modules and a Siebel certification is strongly desired. Other desired experience includes Siebel Tools, Siebel CTI, Siebel EIM, Actuate, Oracle.

  • Perform UI and business layer configuration - business objects, business component, applets, views, screens etc.
  • Perform data layer configuration - Data model extension, etc.
  • Perform customization - eScript or Vbscript, business services etc.
  • Create and maintain Workflow and Assignment Manager policies
  • Write design specifications based on the business requirements
  • Migrate development work across various environments
  • Work with DBAs to optimize performance
  • Work with the QA team to facilitate the development work and resolve defects
