Job Description You will be developing in .NET with C#, SQL & C++ on an AIX/DB2 platform and design, develop, and guide fellow team members in the creation of satisfying financial software. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analyze user requirements, write technical specifications, and implement applications based on technical specifications. Support internal and external customers (including Quality Assurance, Customer Support, and clients). Troubleshoot, debug, and write fix programs as necessary. Maintain the existing code. Review user documentation. Write system bulletins and notices. The successful candidate will meet or exceed the following requirements: Bachelors degree & a minimum of five years experience required. Strong .NET skills are essential, Unix/AIX knowledge is a plus. An excellent knowledge of programming (i.e. program design, lowcharting, coding, testing, debugging, etc.) An excellent knowledge of how the pieces of a program fit together for the purpose of meeting the requirements of an application. An excellent understanding of how critical project completion is to client satisfaction. A strong knowledge of the relationship of how the software being used relates to the hardware being used. The ability to interact with external, as well as, internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and design initiation. At this level, the interaction may involve a great deal of writing. As a result, strong writing skills are required.
