Senior Software Developer Location: Milpitas, California Job Description:*
  • Senior software developer to join our Lawful Intercept team. This person will be an individual contributor in the LI development team, being responsible for design, development, unit test and integration of modules and features for the SS8 Xcipio Lawful Intercept platform. *
  • This is a hands-on position requiring exposure to the full software development life cycle, strong technical and programming background combined with the capability and experience of leading and mentoring junior engineers. Requirements:*
  • 5 years of overall software development experience*
  • Solid experience with C programming.*
  • Unix/Solaris system development: Interprocess communication: sockets, pipes, shared memory multithreading: thread start/finish, mutexes, condition variables*
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as ClearCase*
  • Familiarity with software development environments such as EclipseDesirable skills:*
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as RADIUS, DHCP, SIP, SMTP, POP3, RTP.*
  • Knowledge of Lawful Intercept standards such as J-STD-025, ETSI, PacketCable, etc.*
  • Exposure to telecommunication network architectures: GPRS, CDMA2000, VoIP, Packet Cable, Soft Switch, Circuit Switch, SMS, IMS, etc.Required Education: BSc in Computer Sciencedf-tc
