Description
Job Description:Will develop project plans, specify deliverables and determine strategy. Identify risks, and determine contingency plans. Formulate and define technical scope and objectives of the project. Determine staffing and allocation of resources. Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project personnel. Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. Provide direction and feedback. Will prepare status reports and inform management, clients and other authorized personnel of project status. Will coordinate and obtain approval for any specification changes and monitor results against technical requirements/specifications. Coordinate development and maintenance of documentation. Coordinate and inform QA of project scope and requirements to ensure that they are prepared to develop test strategies. Coordinate with Architecture and Database groups to ensure compliance with strategic direction.

Requirements:

Qualifications:10+ years of broad based information systems and business experience including previous experience in software development /engineering. 4+ years of experience managing systems development projects. 3+ years of development experience in an n-tier environment. 3+ years of experience in web application development. 3+ years of experience working for or with business units to solve/meet complex business problems/requirements.Solid understanding of current technologies including Object Oriented Languages (Java, Visual Basic, C++, etc.) Web Enterprise Servers, databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, etc), web tools (HTML, CGI, Perl, etc). Must also have previous project management or development experience with these technologies.4 year college degree required.
