Title: Senior Software EngineerWho does this position will report to?: Development ManagerLocation Philadelphia, PAWork environment : High rise office building; cubicleSpecific Tasks* Carry out software development according to defined standards and guidelines * Write code that satisfies all applicable standards* Review code written by other team members, according to defined standards* Carry out thorough Unit Testing according to defined standards* Plan Integration Tests according to defined standards* Fix defects reported in software during all phases of the development lifecycle* Assist in customer support by handling issues escalated to development* Contribute to the completion of software projects by assisting other members of staff as necessary* Report status of current tasks and objectives to relevant managersSkills Required* Strong programming skills* Requirement analysis skills* Visual Basic 6.0* Oracle * C# .Net (desirable)Experience Required* A college degree, preferably related to engineering or software development* Familiarity with current software development environments and tools * Direct involvement in the development of software products* Use of a formal software development methodology * Pharmaceutical industry experience Work Hours and Schedule (flex time? required overtime?) 8 to 5.Is overtime paid, and is it at straight time?
