Job Summary:

Develop software conforming to AutoVIN standards and practices. Complete development assignments within the specifications supplied by the project owner and contribute in design and architectural design sessions. The Senior Software Engineer may indefinitely support a projects software and ongoing development.

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Develop software as specified, verbally or in writing, by the project owner and system architects.
2. Produce designs, release notes and test criteria documents in conjunction with assigned projects.
3. Attend design meetings and contribute to software design and system architecting sessions.
4. Manage list of assigned bugs and enhancements in proprietary software.
5. Work with peers on projects while ensuring 100% cooperation and sharing information to produce the best quality product.
6. Manage version control of assigned projects with Perforce.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor?s degree in related discipline required
Experience: Six (6) or more years of heavy hands-on experience in software development along with experience constructing and distributing Windows client server and web-based projects is required. Desirable experience includes: WINCE development using embedded Studio, developing cross-platform applications and Oracle PL/SQL.

Knowledge and skills: The following skills are required: VC++, C#, .NET, C++ as well as a working knowledge of Visual Basic, HTML and ASP.

Machines, tools, equipment: Standard office equipment including telephones, computers, keyboards, laptop, calculators, facsimile machines, etc.

Licenses, certifications: Diplomas/certificates consistent with education/training completed.df-tc
