If you are a great Senior Software Engineer with strong C++/OOP experience as well as experience with parallel/distributed systems, compilers, or run-time services, please read on!

Fully-funded (stable) start-up company with well-known Silicon Valley billionaire founder/entrepreneur seeks a Senior Software Engineer with experience with distributed/parallel systems.

What you need:

- BS in Computer Science; MS or PhD is a plus
- Extensive OOP/C++ development skills a must
- Strong Unix/Linux systems programming skills a must (this is a low-level systems development role)
- Experience with Distributed/Parallel systems
- Experience writing compilers
- Experience with OS Kernels and Services


What you'll be doing:

- You will be involved in the architecture, design, and development of transparent, scalable, and portable distributed/parallel structured software systems for use by commercial clients
