Senior Software Engineer - Medical Device

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design and implementation of scalable system architectures for our mems based platform. The work will include the design and development of overall system, motion control, temperature control, detection systems, and networking. The candidate must be able to lead complex hardware and software development projects from architecture, through design and build to validation. Project management responsibilities include the ability to set achievable key milestones and meet them. This role requires the ability to be both a strong team member and an individual contributor. The candidate must also have demonstrated leadership potential.
Requirements:
- A BS/MS in computer science or electrical engineering with 5 years minimum experience
- Experience in system architecture design for analytical instrumentation
- Experience developing systems around the ARM processor, system-on-chip and FPGA
- Demonstrated ability in C/C++ and assembly for developing firmware and GUI applications.
- Knowledge of developing PC, MFC, and Windows CE or Windows XPe applications
- Demonstrated aptitude working with mechanical hardware
- Experience in developing applications under FDA regulatory guidelines is highly desired
