Description
Our client, a leader in Financial Services and Insurance Services, urgently requires an experienced Software Development Engineer to join their Data Warehouse Team. The consultant will participate in all parts of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis, to design, implementation and release. The candidate will fine-tune the performance of the SQL code base and application specific tables.

Requirements:

? Highly proficient in COBOL, DB2, SQL and SQL tuning (5 - 7 Years of proven experience). ? Expertise in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing (5-7 Years of proven experience). ? Create detailed systems specifications. ? Responsible for systems testing including the development of systems testing strategies. ? Insurance industry experience is preferred. ? Must be motivated and have a strong desire to learn new technologies and concepts. ? Must have excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills. ? Must be willing to provide 24 x 7 on-call support for a select number of weeks during the year. Education/Experience: * Bachelors or Masters Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent expertise. * Minimum of 5 years related experience.df-tc
