We are looking for top-level software experts in one or more specialized areas of .Net distributed application development to be a part of our dedicated software development group in Autodesk?s Manufacturing Collaboration Services division based in Novi, Michigan

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on new product development for engineering data management and be on the forefront of advancing design collaboration. Responsibilities of the group include all facets of software development: design, prototype, implementation, and testing and documentation. In addition you will, provide technical leadership on complex projects, instruct or lead the work of other software developers, and participate in all phases of application design & development.

Responsibilities
  • Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot product features according to the market requirements and product specifications.
  • Deliver results that meet market requirements and product specifications with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work as an integral member of a high performance team making important individual contributions. Estimate schedules for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards.
  • Work with Product Management to provide solutions to market requirements that are both innovative and implementable.
  • Work closely with Test Development group in unit level testing and problem resolution.
    Requirements
  • BS in CS or equivalent with respectable academic background.
  • Familiarity with the software development process.
  • Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.

    Work Experience
  • 8 years of technical experience in software development environment
  • DB design methodology with exceptional SQL knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of distributed multi-tier client/server architectures
  • Strong C# or C++ programming experience and OOD.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET a plus.
  • Internet technologies such as SOAP/HTML/ASP/XML is a plusdf-tc
