Description
Company based in Duluth seeks a Senior Software Engineer.

Summary:

This position requires an expert level software developer to develop real-time software for firms RF & IP Video STB. The ideal candidate would be able to define, design and implement cutting-edge software and modify existing software to add features to complex STB products. Other activities include requirements definition, hands-on lab debugging and interaction with version control and problem tracking systems. The person must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, project oriented environment.


Required Experience:

5 to 10 years in software development on large-scale, real-time embedded systems applications written in C.
Modular Design and Implementation using C
Proficient with one or more Linux scripting languages
Proficient with multi-process and event-driven development.
Development on a Linux platform and/or writing Linux applications
Experience programming streaming applications/modules using networking protocols (UDP, RTP, etc.)
MPEG Video
Linux device drivers

Education:

BSCS Preferred
BSCE, BSEE or equivalent required
