Description
Senior Software Engineer. Perform Java/J2EE web development in support of a Customer Service Replacement Project. Involved in all phases of the development life cycle including analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation of web screens using Thin Client Framework. Provide benchmarked solutions to complex technical project requirements, and assist in establishment of and adherence to technical direction, standards, guidelines and methodology for use in specified technologies. Assume lead role in technically complex phases of projects/initiatives, take accountability for technical quality and workability of solutions, solve highly technical and complex problems, perform code/design review of the work of the project team and verify testing results to ensure adherence to quality requirements. df-tc

Experience/Skills
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related plus two (2) years of experience in the Job Offered or two (2) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, or similar. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related plus five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in the Job Offered or five years (5) experience as a Programmer Analyst, or similar. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, and pre- or post-degree, to include two years of web development experience using each of the following: Java, J2EE, WebSphere 4.x or 5.x, Object Oriented Design, UML, Design Patterns, RDBMS, and Unix. Relocation likely. Salary: $88,000; M-F 8:00-5:00.
