Description
RiverPoint Group has an immediate need for a Senior Software Engineer with direct client. This is a full time direct placement or a short term contract to hire (it's up to the candidate).

Responsibilities:
Duties include design, development and testing of new software; Maintenance, analysis, optimization and documentation of existing and new application system and troubleshooting software problems as they occur. Work as part of a multi-functional team on implementation projects. Coach and train other team members as directed.

Qualifications:
. Technical or 4 year degree in Computer Science or a related field.
. 5+ years' development experience.
. Thorough understanding of Object Oriented programming principles.
. Programming in a server system environment using C and C#.
. Experience is other programming languages helpful.
. Experience with using an ETL tool and MQ Series to develop application solutions.
. 3+ years experience with Oracle, SQL server or other RDMS applications.
. Experience with Cluster Computing is helpful.
. Experience with Client/Server and three tier architectures.
. Strong attention to detail.
. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Proven ability to meet critical deadlines.
. Some travel.
