NVR Inc. is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to assume the position of Senior Software Engineer in our Corporate Office in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer you will:
  • Design, code, test, develop and document application programs for NVR’s enterprise level customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Work with users to define system scope and objectives, and to assist in the development of methods and approaches
  • Analyze system and programming logic and make revisions and optimizations
  • Program clear and concise solutions to address described problems following NVR coding standards
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and application enhancements
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Comply with stated SDLC model(s), which apply to the NVR system requirements
  • Other duties as required by business conditions

    Skills and Abilities:
  • 5 to 7 years of development experience with .NET, ASP 2.0, SQL Server, HTML, IIS, VBScript, JavaScript, Visual Source Safe
  • Database design experience including: stored procedures, table structures and basic administration concepts
  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Broad technical background including familiarity with recent Information Technology
  • Experience with Pivotal or other CRM systems desired
