Description
Perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support projects which may require research and analysis. Performs design, implementation, and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or lower level issues on multiple products. Prepare technical documentation. Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Assist in performing on-site client work. Report to Software Development Manager. Experience/Skills
Master’s degree in software engineering or computer science. Typically requires six to nine years of technical experience in product design and product support. Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation. Good analytical and design skills at multiple product level. Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation. Good understanding of the entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance. Must have excellent communications skills.•3-5 years experience in JBoss, Tomcat and Apache administration a must.•Experienced in ANT, XML and other build tools for J2EE programs•3-5 Experience in Linux / Solaris operating system as Administration level•Prior work experience in a project using MVC/STRUTS framework required.•Knowledge of DAO, Castor is a strong plus.DESIRED SKILLS:•Knowledge of J2EE programming desired.•Knowledge of Websphere / Weblogic application server desired.Applicants may submit resumes directly to eric.griffin@rht.com
