Experience/Skills
BS/CS, or related field. 6+ years programming experience in either VB6/.Net, or Net/VB.Net, or C#/.Net in a client/server environment. Strong SQL skills. Very strong written and verbal English language skills. Strong object oriented programming skills. Strong understanding of SDLC, and prior participation all phases of SDLC activities. Experience in design and optimization of large databases. Strength in developing: complex stored procedures and functions; data structures and algorithms, including XML. Ability to adopt and extend industry standard schemes to meet complex internal and interface requirements. The following is a plus: .Net 2.0; Pocket PC platform; knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, COM, Win services, Web services; experience with cross platform/cross language communications; security/encryption application development, experience in dispatching for public safety, utilities, or transportation industries.
