CDI has an Immediate Need for a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER.

Melbourne, FL 32935

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and implementing critical components of Flight Management System Software.

8 to 10 years software engineering experience with the development of Flight Management Systems.

Knowledgeable in the software implementation aspects of FMS including navigation and guidance algorithms, flight plan and database management, and map/display functions.

Experience should include direct involvement with the certification of at least one FMS.

Fluent in software development to RTCA DO178B standards.

Experienced as a leader in architecting new software implementations.

Well versed in C and C++ with embedded software development using real time operating systems.

CSEE, BSEE or equivalent.df-tc
