Position Details
The Software Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining Java services for a complex web services system. Perform development in a multi-contractor, multi-location environment.

BEST INDUSTRY - Communications
BEST DEPARTMENT - Engineeringdf-tc

Experience/Skills
Bachelors Degree is required.
9 years experience with the development and deployment of Java web services.
4 - 5 years spent developing complex Java systems for the government
or industry.
2 - 3 years of Java development experience.
1 - 2 years of experience with web services.
1 - 2 years of experience developing complex systems utilizing COTS.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Understanding of disciplined software development process (CMM).
Experience with BEA Weblogic a plus.
Knowledge of Eclipse Framework and Eclipse RCP a plus.
Current SOA understanding a plus.
Good interpersonal and communication skills a plus.
Software experience utilizing Rational ClearCase a plus.
System discrepancy reporting experience using ClearQuest a plus.
UNIX development experience a plus.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

NOTE: Position requires a current TS/SCI with CI or full-scope poly.
