Senior level software architect (at least 8 years experience): experience with J2EE architecture, Spring Framework, BEA WebLogic 8.1 and Web services architecture are required. Candidate should have knowledge of SQL and relational Databases. Other desirable skills include Apache Axis, XMLBeans, XFire. Experience with EII tool (Metamatrix) is a strong plus. Candidate will be responsible for software design and architecture decisions and implementation. Candidate should be experienced with full life cycle OO techniques working in a complex software development environment. Successful candidate will have hands-on experience using UML, design tools, developing EJBs and other enterprise components. Candidate must have experience developing in a Windows environment. Familiarity with UNIX is a plus. Candidate must be a self-starter and a team player. Candidate will support operational system and new development efforts. Candidate will be responsible for providing input to program documentation (System Design Document, Interface Control Agreements, etc) and customer reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
