Description
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Software Engineer, an opportunity with a leading company in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

In this position candidates will develop and integrate capability for conducting net-centric testing of new systems and participate in operational/developmental testing of net-centric systems. Research new technology and develop technical documentation containing requirements decomposition, research results, system/component designs, unit testing methods and steps, and component documentation within the code.

Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years related experience. 2. Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web service development and SOA testing instrumentation 3. Knowledge of software development practices 4. Experience with programming and debugging at the Network and Data Link OSI Layers 5. Experience with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and other cryptographic protocols 6. Experience in Validation Verification and Accreditation of tools used in DOD testing 7. At least three years direct programming experience using C# or Java 8. Experience using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) 9. Experience developing technical documentation 10. Excellent communications skills 11. Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 12. Must be self-driven and capable of prioritizing own work and time. 14. Must be able to analyze the problem at hand and create logically consistent and maintainable programs from general specifications. 15. Must be comfortable in a small testing group where initiative, drive, and flexibility skills are a must. 16. Must have a current/active Secret clearance or higher.

Desired: 1. Knowledge of Net-Enabled Command Capability (NECC) program 2. Experience in Modeling and Simulation testing environments 3. Experience in software development using Microsoft Visual Studio 4. Experience developing applications using the .NET Framework Defining the future.
