Are you a hard core, nuts and bolts software engineer that wants to work in the heart and soul of 's software? Do you have a passion for software development and yearn to make development more efficient, predictable, and FUN?

Then you need to be working for Amazon's Developer Services group.

We are Amazon's platform group - focused on the how and what of software development at Amazon. Whether it's writing great tools to make developers more productive or writing rock solid application frameworks that make creating scalable, highly-available services as easy as possible, Amazon's platform is full of difficult, challenging, and important problems.

We are looking for talented C++ and/or Java engineers that possess the ability to write rock-solid code, deal with complexity and work well with other developers. Each of our groups provide an excellent opportunity to solve hard problems that directly affect Amazon's business while providing
a great way to interact with many other development groups.
