Description
SOFTWARE TEST Contractor 2 Execution of automated and manual testing, black box and white box testing, emphasizing quality, adherence to process standards. Use of source control for test files. Identify software defects then enter into defect tracking system. White box testing to include use of debugger. Experience in testing real-time RTOS based embedded systems issues, such as interrupt latency and task contexts/priorities is a plus. Duties to include design/code review, writing tests, test setup, test execution and troubleshooting. Facility with oscilloscopes, multimeters, ability to identify test points in schematics. Experience and Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for document generation. Focus and attention to detail, good organizational skills and task scheduling estimation. Teamwork and professional attitude required. Minimum Experience: 4 years including embedded real-time systems, RTOS such as VxWorks, Nucleus. Capabilities in C programming and scripting preferably Perl. Utilizing debuggers, source control tools preferably MKS Enterprise, or Clearcase/Clearquest, Operating oscilloscopes, multimeters. Knowledge of microprocessor devices, such as EEPROM, display, timers, UART. BA/BS Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering including Course work in Data Structures, Operating System, Algorithms, Networking, and Distributed Computing is desirable. Prior medical computing and FDA documentation experience is a plus, especially prior experience with glucose meters.
