This position is located in Irvine, CA.

We have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Software V&V / SQA / Software Test Engineer in a research and development environment.

Requirements:
1. BSEE, BSCS or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Software V&V / SQA / Software test.
2. Experience in leading project teams (2-7 people) to provide Software V&V / SQA / Software test effort and guidance for a medium to large sized project.
3. Experience in software documentation review, writing and implementing test plans, writing and executing manual system level test cases and procedures.
4. Experience in allocating test cases and coordinating S/W testing by multiple individuals.
5. Experience in evaluating and using software tools at various phases of software development.
6. Team-oriented leadership skills with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with: software development using a high level language such as C, C++, and C#. Knowledge of the software development life cycle; FDA/ISO regulations for software development; testing embedded software systems; software test automation; M.S. Office especially M.S. Word; software configuration management tools including Serena ChangeMan Version Manager and Tracker are highly desirable.
