Senior Staffing Consultant - Corporate IT

Basic Purpose & Objective of the Position: The Walt Disney Company is looking for a Senior Staffing Consultant to drive sourcing and recruitment for professional hiring (salaried, hourly, exempt and non-exempt). This position is responsible for all stages of the staffing process - from partnering with Hiring Managers and Human Resources Generalists and business partners on position strategy and candidate requirements, developing sourcing strategies to target, attract and assess top talent, negotiating/closing offers and manage other aspects of our relationships with key stakeholders.

The client groups will primarily be in the areas of information technology, systems, project management and support but the reach may also extend into other functional areas of The Walt Disney Company.

Primary Responsibilities:
Implement effective recruiting strategies and best practices to source, attract, screen, recruit and select high caliber professionals across the company.
Provide consistent communication and consulting expertise to Hiring Management on all of the above.
Interact with HR Generalists and Hiring Managers/Interview teams to ensure excellent Candidate experience. Utilize recruitment metrics as measure of successful sourcing/placement.
Build pipeline of professional talent, conducting aggressive outreach/direct sourcing, leveraging prior experience in hands-on IT recruitment.
Create comprehensive source lists for search engagements. Develop rigorous research, calibration with function/market to effective target passive candidates.
Select and partner with search firms/agencies for strategic hiring needs.
Provide analytical candidate assessments when presenting initial slate to Hiring team.
Follow-up with candidates post-interview as needed for networking opportunities and to assist with on-boarding.
Share with Enterprise Information Technology leadership any challenges/barriers to meeting client requirements. Take a proactive approach to problem solving; provide leadership in resolving issues that arise during the recruitment process.
May also include participation in Job Fairs or other hiring events.
Project work as assigned.

Education Level: BA/BS required
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
Human Resources, Liberal Arts or Business

Other Training/Technical Skills/Knowledge:
At least 2 - 3 years prior professional recruiting experience from a Fortune 100 company or highly reputable retained search firm, in the field of information technology
Exceptional consulting and account management skills
Proven success in building long term relationships with Hiring Managers and talented professionals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills - able to maintain fast pace while delivering high level results
Must have highly effective follow-up and organizations skills
Must exemplify the values of TWDC and share those values with our candidates.

Experience recruiting professional staff from large companies in the areas of IT is strongly preferred
