Senior Staffing Consultant

Position Summary:

Summary Recruits, researches, interviews, screens, and refers job candidates for information technology, accounting, finance and/or consulting positions. Faciliates and coordinates entire hiring process, including offer negotiation.

Position Description:

• Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
• Develops relationships with hiring partners, managers and other key internal staff.
• Writes job descriptions or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others.
• Develops recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
• Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
• Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
• Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
• Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.
• Writes and places job advertising in various media.
• Participates in, sets up display, and works at job fairs.
• Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
• Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.
• Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
• Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance or related area
• 5 or more years of recruiting for IT professionals required
• Additional experience in accounting/finance professionals preferred
• Prior experience should include selection of sourcing avenues including internet sites, screening candidates, offer negotiations, orientation, client relationship management and staff counseling.
• PHR or SPHR preferred, but not required.

Additional Skills:

This individual must be able to manage multiple searches simutaneously, problem solve HR issues, and effectively consult with hiring partners and managers on a variety of staffing issues.

Must be detail oriented, possess facilitation skills, strong client service skills, good verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, strong organizational skills and posses a high level of business acumen.
