As Senior Strategic Planning Analyst, you will prepare business plans for key markets and new country openings, evaluate various financial alternatives, and participate in the execution of mergers and acquisitions. You will assist with long-term financial planning and forecasting.

Reports to: The Director of Strategic Planning

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, manage, analyze, and present data from various information systems

  • Participate in ad-hoc research assignments for executive management

  • Review of Strategic Planning project presentations

  • Support the Director of Strategic Planning on various project duties and initiatives

  • Monitor and gather competitor and peer intelligence data


You must possess the following qualities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization, including executive management

  • Ability to solve complex, practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision

  • Ability to independently organize workload prioritizes responsibilities, meet deadlines for deliverables, and multi task on several projects individually as well as in teamwork settings

  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Experience/Skills
Required Background/Experience

  • Bachelors degree in economics, finance, business, accounting, or statistics

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or strategic planning

  • Proficient developing robust and dynamic financial models

  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and fundamental business valuation methodologies

  • Experience in handling and analyzing large and complex data sets

  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel


Major Pluses to have

  • Experience with MS Access, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, SQL, and SAS
