Description
Responsibilities involve Structural Design using CATIA-V5 to create parametric solid models, original layouts and designs for airframe structures and components. Candidate shall coordinate design effort within other disciplines affected by the design development; make layouts of high complexity assemblies and detail parts of devices, mechanism, and structures; and identify design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies and recommend revisions and/or improvements in the design layout to responsible engineers or designers. Requires 10 years of air vehicle design experience, as well as an understanding and working knowledge of MIL-STD-100 and ASME Y14.5. Experience in supporting producibility / affordability initiatives is also preferred. 1 year plus contract.

Candidate will need to have the ability to obtain secret clearance after hire.
