This individual will be a System Engineer working with MCI team as part of Collaboration and Content Management initiatives. This role will report to the MCI team lead in addition to working with other consultants within the Infrastructure Engineering and Support group.df-tc

Experience/Skills
As a System Engineer working on Collaboration and Content Management initiatives within Infrastructure Engineering and Support, the individual will have the following responsibilities:
.Install, administer and support infrastructure technologies in the Collaboration and Content Management space. These would include:
o Sharepoint 2003 and MOSS 2007
oDocumentum
oConfluence Wiki
oTraction (Blog)
oFAST (Search Engine)
oAffinium NetInsight (Web Analytics)
oWeb Servers (iPlanet, IIS)
oMicrosoft .Net environment
oSQL Server Services such as Reporting Services and Notification Services
.Partner with application development teams to help solve business needs.
.Upgrade the various technologies including participation in a large Sharepoint 2003 to MOSS 2007 migration.
. Complete the day-to-day support ticket requests for the above technologies.
.Document the support procedures for use by our Service Operations group.
.Test the infrastructure technologies after changes and involvement in Disaster Recovery testing.
. Open and track vendor tickets for outstanding product issues.
.Assist with infrastructure support during application deployments.
.Work with application teams to resolve issues in Microsoft .Net technology stack.

Job Qualifications The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, organizational and communication skills. The individual will possess strong experience in Sharepoint and related Microsoft .Net technologies. Knowledge and experience in the other technologies is a strong plus.

Specific requirements include:
. 2-4 years of hands-on experience using Sharepoint/MOSS in terms of infrastructure setup and support of a large farm environment.
.1-3 years of hands-on experience with supporting EMC Documentum a plus. An understanding of Workflows, DTS Transformations, and general docbase configuration/maintenance would be helpful.
.-3 years working with Microsoft SQL Server services, specifically Notification and Report Services.
.Strong desire to learn new technologies and contribute on areas of need as required.
.Experience working hand-in-hand with development teams in assisting with new deployments and troubleshooting custom application issues.
. Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
.Experience with any of the above technologies would be considered a strong plus
. Ability and willingness to work effectively in a business-critical production environment
.Experience with Microsoft Operations Manager, BMC Patrol, or other monitoring tools a plus.
. Strong experience with Microsoft Windows platform
.Experience with Solaris 2.8 and Solaris 10 desirable
.Computer Science degree or related field
