Description
Great Plains Systems Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

? System Administration & Management of:
o Windows 2000/2003
o Windows XP, 2000
o Citrix
o Great Plain Software Accounting
o MSSQL DBA
? Provide Support to SEI Clients remotely and onsite.
? Daily Performance monitoring of Datacenter installs and associated technologies including: Microsoft Networks, MSSQL, BizTalk, AD, and Citrix.
? Periodic Preventative Maintenance associated with all Datacenter servers supporting MBS Great Plains
? Failover and Failsafe testing, engineering, and deployment associated with a Microsoft Datacenter


Additional Responsibilities: (Great Plains Installation Training would be provided by SEI)

? Install and maintain Microsoft SQL in accordance with Microsoft standards.
? Install Great Plains in accordance with Microsoft standards
? Own and demand standardized installation environment that guarantees SEI's "supported" status with Microsoft.
? Follow formalized methodology in participating in SEI engagements logically implementing unilaterally and as a member of a team.
? Communicate and train end-users in the use of Microsoft Great Plains one to one and group training class sessions.


Qualifications Include:

? Three plus years relevant experience.
? Strong experience with Windows server 2000 and 2003.
? Strong experience with Windows XP.
? Strong experience with Exchange.
? Strong experience with TCIP.
? Strong experience with Active Directory.
? Experience maintaining a network in a medium-sized business environment.
o DNS
o DHCP
o Citrix
o SQL Server
o Experience configuring various types of Routers, Firewalls, Switches.
? Strong working knowledge of Great Plain Software and Biztalk preferred.df-tc
