Job Opening: Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:
-Performance monitoring, maintenance, upgrades and support for Windows infrastructure supporting 2 data centers and 40 remote locations.
-Act as a liaison between the IT Department, Application Programming, and internal business units to assure successful project implementations.
-Provide leadership and guidance to other members of the team.
-2nd and 3rd level support for help desk escalation.
-Support of IBM xSeries and HP/Compaq server platforms.


Requirements:
-3-5 years of broad technical experience with planning, installation, management, and support of NT/2000/2003 file, print, and application servers on local and wide area networks.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce and support system documentation.
-Available for on-call and work outside of normal business hours when needed.
-Familiarity with IBM or HP SAN systems desirable.
-Experience with AD design, implementation, and policies.
-Experience with Exchange 2000/2003.
-Experience with Windows Terminal Server and Citrix Metaframe XPe.
-Experience with backup and disaster recovery in an open systems environment.
-Experience with server consolidation and virtualization technology such as VMWare desired.
-Some experience with Microsoft SQL would be useful.
-Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, and switches.
-Familiarity with NT/2000/XP desktops.
-Bachelor's degree or equivlient required.
-MSCE certification a plus.
