Our client is in the top third of the "100 most desired companies to work for" and they are looking to add to their San Fernando Valley team.Our multi-billion dollar client is need of a Senior System Administrator to support and troubleshoot their applications complex issues. The lucky and talented System Administrator will be responsible for 24/7 support of applications running in a UNIX and Windows server environment. Our clients Senior System Administrator will also perform data analysis, database updates (writing and executing), install and support third-party applications as well as implementing the standards for those applications, and work with the development team to optimize the utilization of their system resource. The Senior Systems Administrator should have a minimum of 5 years in a Systems Administration role within a 24/7 production environment. Background in large-scale, web architectures using ASP and/or CGI technologies is a major plus. If you have the ability and can promote and demonstrate an attitude of teamwork and cooperation then you are the Senior Systems Administrator we need. Experience/Skills
The following qualifications along with your drive to succeed in a team oriented space are as follows; Hands-on knowledge of the following technologies; Apache Tomcat and configuration deployment of Apache, JBoss, DNS. Scripting in one or more of the following; PERL, PHP, or Python. SQL Database experience. Understanding of TCP/IP, XML, HTTP, DHTML, etc.. Must have UNIX background (Linux, AIX, Solaris).
