Description
A Nashville, TN-based client is searching for a candidate to fulfill the role of Senior Systems Administrator. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, implementation and deployment of the client's systems and applications. You'll be leading and performing system administration on a complex local and wide area networks of Windows-based devices. In addition, you'll be troubleshooting a variety of escalated system administration issues.

Experience/Skills
To qualify for consideration for this position, you must meet or exceed the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field is preferred.
  • Legal or professional services experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years Windows System Administration Experience along with 4+ years experience configuring domain information utilities, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS is sought.
  • An Microsoft Certified Senior Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems
  • Engineer (MCSE) certification is required without exception.
  • Experience configuring system backup software, preferably Backup Exec.
  • 4+ years experience with Exchange 2000/2003.
  • 2 + years experience configuring SAN environments, preferably EMC and 2+ years experience configuring Citrix, SMS, or BES environments is sought.
  • Experience presenting technical information to customers, clients and/or internal audiences.
  • Must possess independent problem solving skills and have the ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
  • A thorough understanding of operating system concepts such as swapping and paging, inter-process communication, and devices and device drivers is key.
  • A strong understanding of Windows security concepts and excellent project management skills are sought.
