Description
Our Client has an immediate opening for a Sr. System Administrator. The ideal candidate should be technically oriented, self motivated, a quick learner, and have good communication skills.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Specify, install, configure and maintain highly available distributed systems, storage, and data center infrastructure• Ensure, maintain and measure system availability and uptime• Deploy and maintain applications in various environments• Deploy changes according to change control processes• Enforce update, and maintain standard operating procedures• Mentor Systems Administration and Helpdesk staff• Candidate must have strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills• Must be able to multitask and work on several projects simultaneouslyExperience:• BS in Computer Science or equivalent• 10+ years installing, configuring, and maintaining distributed Windows servers• 5+ years of senior level experience in systems administration• 3+ years experience with EMC storage area networks, web servers, and mail serversPreferred skills:• Current MCSE certificationLocal candidates only.
