Local company seeks a Senior Systems Analyst for 3 month contract in a suburb of Memphis, TN. Requirements include 5+ years experience and:
-Ability to create SQL database
-Ability to enter historical data into database
-Ability to create appropriate queries and perform data analysis
-Ability to perform relevant statistical analysis of data
-Ability to utilize data to identify root cause of performance gaps and outages
-Ability to identify gaps in our data which might prevent or limit root cause analysis
-Ability to make recommendations for improving our current data collection / analysis processes

This person will be researching historical system / network performance information, identifying key data elements within the information, and entering the data into an SQL database. They will need to create the database, design the queries, and prepare output from the data. They will need to evaluate the data using appropriate statistical techniques. They will run reports and prepare presentations of their findings suitable for discussion with the management team. They will also be required to document how to utilize and maintain the data base, how to run the various queries they created and how they reports are generated.df-tc
