Position Descriptions SS032405Title: Senior Systems/ Applications Analyst Financial and Clinical CareNetReports to: Manager, ApplicationsSummary:Responsible for systems/application analysis, design, development, support and maintenance, keeping all assigned applications in optimal performance state at all times. Formulates and implements functional requirements for client clinical and/or financial processes. Functions as liaison between clinical and/or financial and IT departments. Responsible for implementation of third party software, working with vendor, user departments and IT team members. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documentation and literature. Determine alternate approaches to clinical and/or financial issues and select optimal solutions. Work on complex clinical and/or financial problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvement. Is able to translate business and system requirements into system deliverables. Has a clear understanding of how clinical and/or financial systems interrelate with other clinical and/or financial systems. Ability to analyze the impact to solutions on current processes and existing systems. Tests, debugs, and documents system modifications and upgrades. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis. Responsible for client communication and satisfaction. Responsible for quality assurance review. Acts as project leader for designated projects as assigned. May work on multiple software applications and/or support multiple institutions.Specific skills include:Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to communicate technical issues to non IT individuals in a non-technical courteous environmentStrong problem solver, customer service orientation, ability to manage multiple priorities and follow defined project methodology to meet goalsExperience in a wide variety of IT healthcare settingsFormal presentation development and delivery skills, to include responding to questions from groups of individualsAbility to program COBOL, SQL or any related program languages used by facilityAbility to create and use DCL or other appropriate operating system commandsAbility to analyze program code and correct logic errors when necessaryEducationBachelor Degree in Information technology or related field or high school diploma with 7 years experienceMasters Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.You may apply directly with ?id=3826889df-tc
