Description
Working with limited supervision, this position will provide systems analysis, development, technical and database design, testing and maintenance support for the IVRS systems.

This position will work with IVRS Systems Designers to help define system requirements and scope; will code applications and perform unit, integration, and system level testing according to design specifications; and will work with Systems Support staff to maintain systems throughout their active service life.


Education and Experience:
B.S. or B.A. (minimum) in computer science-related field and 4-8 years combined experience in a software development environment.

Candidates with advanced degrees can potentially reduce the related professional experience requirement, each case will be considered individually.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Experience in the following technologies: Visual Basic 6.0 and C# and/or VB.Net, PL/SQL. Exp. with ASP.Net, Telephony, and Envox is considered a plus.
-Minimum 4 years extensive experience handling Relational databases (Oracle)
-Working knowledge of Telephony technologies and Web development methodologies.
-Ability to provide technical leadership and serve as a mentor to junior development staff.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Ability to learn new development systems without formal training.
-Ability to split time between more than one development project, and ability to prioritize appropriately.
-Ability to work under stress and aggressive timelines.
-Ability to work variable hours at times, including nights and weekends as required.
-Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
-Proven team leadership skills.
