Adecco Technical is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer in the Columbus area. The highly visible Web Hosting Team is seeking Sr. Systems Engineers for the following role: Code Deployment and Code Migration This instrumental position will include: Providing application code promotion through all levels of testing and into the production environments. Providing Services such as: Application code promotion Script creation Application support (pre- and post-production) Line of business coordination and support Requirements Need to Successfully Perform this Role These Engineers will need to bring to the table proven technical experience with the following technologies: Highly developed skills with code migration tools (App Center 2000 or OpenDeploy) Vast talent with J2EE component packaging Prior Administration Experience in UNIX (Solaris or Linux) A background in scripting language, exposure to some development, and source repository products. Soft Skills Should Include: The successful, qualified candidate will possess a strong team-player attitude, effective communication skills, and be customer focused as well as detail-oriented. Candidate must be a self-starter and a quick learner for this high-energy and demanding position.
