Adecco Technical is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer for one of our most vulued clients in the Denver Technical Center. This is a full time permanent opportunity, we are only accpeting local candidates at this time. The MIS team provides a wide variety of server system deployments and administration services. Team members jointly maintain the health of the company's enterprise computing environment, which is primarily built on HP Equipment and Microsoft software. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work very closely with MIS team and other departments on daily activities of configuration and operation of mission-critical business systems. Duties include Active Directory architecture design, implementation, and administration; Exchange 2003 design, implementation, and administration; monitoring and management of all infrastructure servers and application servers, end-user support, and data integrity/data backups. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required Required Skill Set (Technical): The ideal candidate will possess five plus years experience performing Windows server configuration, administration, Exchange server administration/ configuration, network/computer end-user training. Experience with MS Terminal Server, Citrix MetaFrame Server, MS SMS, MS DFS Experience with SAN technologies is a plus Moderate experience with Visual Basic, and other scripting languages Must be able to evaluate technologies and deliver presentations to technical audience. Required Attributes (Other): Self-starter; able to manage own projects efficiently for on-time delivery Self-motivated; proactive; a team player ; well spoken Experience working in a fast-paced environment and support staff interaction Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily and effectively interact with technical, non-technical, support, and business staff at all levels Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences Professional appearance and conduct Educational/Previous Experience Recommendations B.S. in related field and relevant experience or 8+ years equivalent experience planning, engineering and supporting IT infrastructure. MCSE-2000 or 2003, MCSA, CCA, CCEA At least 5 years of experience with Windows systems. Working conditions The position requires less than 30% travel.
