Description
The candidate considered for this position should meet the following qualifications:

Be part of a team whose primary responsibilities include systems and network design, troubleshooting, planning and development for all InfoSpace online properties.

You will optimize system availability, functionality, security, and performance for multiple shared properties.

You'll also apply your leadership skills to plan major system installations and mentor others in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software and network problems.

4+ years system administration experience in a large-scale, heterogeneous UNIX environment (preferably Linux, Suse, RedHat, and Debian.)

Experience in a geographically distributed environment preferred.

Understanding and experience in SAN and NAS environments.

Thorough understanding and experience of network protocols, routing and switching concepts, DNS and DHCP.

Experience in developing and maintaining scripting environments such as perl and/or shell.

Must have very good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work both as a member of a group and as an individual contributor.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required

Participate in shared on-call schedule.

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
