Senior Systems Engineer - Software

Teknovus is currently looking for an experience Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and internal engineering staff to conceive, design and implement innovative systems-level solutions for Passive Optical Networks (PON).

  • Include existing PON functions in solutions as well as new value-added services such as high bandwidth, TDM, television and multi-tiered data services.


Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Solid understanding of systems level switching and routing as well as modern access, metro networks and services.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ .

  • Familiar with network simulation tools such as ns2 and OpNet.

  • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of queuing theory and stochastic modeling.
