Description
. Oversee staff and resource allocation to provide direct support to local and remote associates (internal customers); adhere to the Team Lead Guidelines.
. Partner with peers from other teams within the Divisional IT department and work closely with the IT management staff in Atlanta.
. Have a clear understanding of the business value of IT and proficiency in utilizing technical expertise to provide complex technical support (daily and on-call) for desktop, servers, network systems, phone systems, and applications.
. Perform project management for roll-outs of corporate software and hardware.
. Provide metrics reports and interpret data analysis for the purpose of trending, tracking, and forecasting. Work with Divisional IT and business functional leaders to identify technology needs and solutions to provide continuous process improvement.
. Experience with tactical processes involved in providing operational services.
. Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and processes to accomplish specific goals.
. Exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Use sound judgement in resolving conflicting priorities.
. Excellent analytical and organizational skills; self-motivated with attention to detail and quality a must.
. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
. Ability to coach, mentor, write reviews, and develop performance plans for direct reports.
. Ability to plan strategically and tactically; successful track record of implementing plans.
. Ability and desire to build strong customer relationships, driving issues to resolution; high levels of team orientation and customer service focus.
. Proficiency in problem analysis, measurements, and process methodologies.
. 100% accurate time reporting in time tracking tool (i.e. ProjTrac). Ensure team compliance.
. Submit weekly detailed status reports in a timely and quality manner.
. Must be able to work within team made up of remote team members.

Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, & administration of Windows 95/98/2000/NT; Network Technology, LAN topology, protocols, routers/hubs, switches & CSU's; IPX, TCP/IP, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP/BOOTP and TCP/IP; Hardware includes: PC and laptops, PDA, scanners/printers, plotters, modems, NICs, sound cards, CD-ROMs & Polycon, Cisco routers/switches; Microsoft Active Dir.; MS Office, Project, Outlook, Visio; Lotus Notes, Rightfax/Winfax, LAN software - Symantec Anti-Virus 8.0; Adobe Products
