Description
Robert Half Technology has a fantastic contract to full-time opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer with one of the Puget Sound's premiere Hi Tech companies. Our client is fast-paced and very entrepreneurial. The Senior Systems Engineer must have in depth experience in the Hosting Industry with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Active Directory. The Senior Systems Engineer role will include both internal and external consulting engagements, and will involve traveling to customer sites.

Experience/Skills
    Required Skills:
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007
  • Specialist in Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies – Microsoft Active Directory and Messaging
  • In-depth knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure and operations
  • Experience writing automation scripts using VB or PowerShell
  • Experience troubleshooting IIS environments and applications
    Experience:
  • Experienced with Microsoft technologies for Unified Messaging such as Office Communications Server 2007
  • Solid understanding of consulting best practices developed through repeated experiences working with leading Service Providers and/or consulting organizations
  • Experience delivering Architecture Design Sessions, onsite customer training, and Proof of Concept deployments
  • Design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure technologies and hosted solutions
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation
  • Co-deliver training events
  • Assist and mentor Systems Engineers
    Other skills:
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel on extended business engagements domestically and internationally
    Certification:
  • Current version MCSE
  • Passed MS 70-501 hosting exam (or equivalent experience)
