xScion Solutions, LLC is a leading professional services firm in the Washington, DC area supporting financial services firms with their consulting and permanent hiring needs. We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer with 5+ years of experience for an exciting role with one of our major clients.

Candidates MUST BE LOCAL to the Washington, DC metropolitan area and have work authorization. No exceptions!

This position is at a large medical insurance company in Washington, D.C.

Tasks
1. Work as an important member of the Business Analysis & Requirements Development team to ensure the customer facing documents meet our high quality standards, communicate the system changes clearly and concisely, and address any questions the customers may have.
2. Translate the internally facing business requirement documents to customer facing documents providing the clarity and succinctness the customers deserve.
3. Understand and represent the varying customers' points of view to ensure the customer facing documentation is meeting there needs and proactively addressing any challenges they may be facing.

Skills
1. Demonstrated experience/knowledge creating and maintaining customer facing documentation
2. At least 5 years of technical writing experience
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to quickly understand complex systems and be able to explain them to varying customers in a written form
5. Strong analytical skills
6. Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision
7. Strong multi-tasking skills

Software:
1. Microsoft Office Suite
