Job Responsibilities:

Provide senior level technical support for Cisco routers and switches, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Install, configure and troubleshoot network cabling. Provide technical support for MPLS based WAN circuits. Help plan and execute network support for both large and small employee relocations. Work with network monitoring tools to provide operational support for LAN and WAN networks. Interface with WAN vendors to order new circuits and troubleshoot problems with existing circuits. Work with Network and IS staff, as well as with end users, to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Provide network support for offsite disaster recovery tests and for Toyfair (travel required for both). Maintain cable management in wiring closets, and add new patch cables when necessary.
Qualifications:

* Good understanding of Cisco routers and switches.
* Understanding of network structured wiring system fundamentals.
* Good understanding of TCP/IP concepts.
* Understanding of WAN concepts and MPLS networks.
* Understanding of SNMP based network monitoring tools.
* Experience with packet capturing and decoding is a plus.
* Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Good customer service skills.
* Good vendor management skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* 3 -5 years technical experience
* College Degree in Computer Science or similar fielddf-tc
