Engagement Description:
Plan, install, integrate and provide technical support for tools, business application software and technology solutions to meet or exceed business needs. Perform various duties supporting various workgroups and processes.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:
This position will contribute to the company's success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives for the following major job functions:

1. Be a central point of technical support on products and technical environments including one with widespread use on a weekday and on-call basis. Define system needs and ensure optimal integration with the rest of the technological environment. Manage environmental change and maintain application infrastructure availability.
2. Provide technical leadership or be a major contributor to I.T. projects and recommend changes to the company's technological environment as appropriate, along with coordinating problem resolution and escalation.
3. Develop and prepare best practices for installation and updates.
4. Stay current with products and technologies and recommend changes as appropriate.
5. Prepare and implement plans for new products or technologies.

Required Qualifications / Skills:

3. Stay current with products and technologies and recommend changes as appropriate.
4. Prepare and implement plans for new products or technologies.
5. Provide technical expertise with the installation, configuration and administration of Data management tools such as ERWIN data modeling tool, SQL Navigator, ETL tools and middleware tools like Informatica, Business Objects, Powerexchange, IBM Classic Federation.
6. Provide technical expertise with the Configuration management tools.
7. Expertise in Sun Solaris and Windows Operating Systems; should have good exposure to UNIX shell scripts.
8. Degree in Information Systems or related field.
9. Six+ years supporting production systems in either operations or support role, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.df-tc
