Description
This position is for a Senior Technical Architect doing Vitria BusinessWare
Product Support/Architecture for the eMRI Team. Resource will be responsible for the following:

A) Update recommendations for deployment of BusinessWare 4 for new applications. This includes:
.The BW Development Environment -- the optimal design for a large-scale, complex environment with the BME, Directory Server, Oracle DB, Harvest change management system, many developers on the same project, managing multiple releases through a multi-stage SDLC.
.The Enterprise Production Environment - the optimal design for multiple applications in a shared environment, shared server, shared LDAP, etc.
.The recommendations will be based on designing, implementing, and testing several prototypes.
.Revise existing designs to incorporate changes due to new versions of BusinessWare.

B) Develop additional application design recommendations and best practices based on prior experience and new research.

C) Publish the designs, best practices, sample programs, etc. on the BusinessWare web site.

D) Consult for applications migrating from BW3 to BW4, both publish/subscribe applications and process automation applications.

E) Assist applications with designs, new development or migration, testing and troubleshooting.

F) Perform design reviews.

G) Share knowledge in all of the above with other members of the Vitria Product Support team.

H) Manage the distribution of Vitria product software. Download the software, test it within the architecture, repackage in DDS, manage the change control process for distribution and installation on servers.

I) Manage a production environment running multiple instances of Vitria BusinessWare and applications. Install software, monitor resources, troubleshoot problems.
