Job Description:



Candidate will assess the current configuration and upgrade/tune as necessary to comply with securtiy regulations, project requirements and vendor supportability. This will also include complete documentation for system administrators to follow in order to maintain both on and off-site archives as well as disaster recovery and system restoration.



Job Qualifications:



High level of experience with NetBackup and all of its components (Vault, Oracle/SQL plugins, etc.)

SVM, Jumpstart, and cfengine

Sun Management Center (SMC)



Symantec (veritas)

Patching

Software install/upgrade

Veritas Storage Foundation Enterprise (VxVM/VxFS) for Solaris and Windows V4.0/4.1

Veritas Storage Foundation Enterprise (VxVM/VxFS) for ORacle on Solaris V4.0/4.1

Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR) for Solaris and WIndows V4.0/4.1

Netbackup V4.5 on Solaris and Windows

Netbackup Vault (not Virtual Vault) on Solaris Hardware

Server experience with V240, V440, V880, V1280, B1600

Sun L180 and L100 libraries

Storage arrays 3510, 3511 and 6320 (SAN)



Solaris (OS & Apps), storage, other Veritas products and Windows experience is a bonus.



Candidate must be a hard worker, self-starter and be able to work in a team environment.

Must also possess good verbal and written skills.
